Sofia is psychodynamically-oriented and works from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective. She frequently utilize evidence-based behavioral techniques in her work, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The first visit is 75 minutes long. Follow-up visits are 45 minutes.
Most patients meet for weekly sessions. For more intensive treatments, you may meet with your therapist twice per week.
